PepMapper is a passion-driven project that applies mathematical and geographical knowledge to provide location data to our users.
We are a group of passionate students from Kawanda Secondary School Senior three west of 2024 who share a passion for mathematics, geography, ICT and programming. After brainstorming, we developed this website to make geolocation more accessible while raising awareness about environmental sustainability. Through this platform, we aim to teach others about the importance of recycling and protecting our planet.
PepMapper not only focuses on helping people discover nearby locations and calculate the shortest routes using mathematical concepts, but also emphasizes the importance of environmental awareness and sustainability. By educating users on their surroundings and the impact of their actions, we aim to foster a sense of responsibility towards protecting the environment. Our platform encourages recycling and offers valuable information on local recycling centers and eco-friendly practices. Discover more about how you can make a difference and contribute to a cleaner, greener future by exploring our . recycling page.
As people in Uganda continue to adopt ICT in their daily lives, we realized that a global application could be the best platform to raise awareness about environmental conservation through recycling. Not only does it aim to providing easy access to geo-coordinates and information about nearby location but also aims to educate and engage people on the importance of protecting the environment. This platform has the potential to be accessed and used by millions of Ugandans, creating mass awareness and encouraging a collective effort toward sustainability.
